My daughter Samantha, a first grader, absolutely LOVES IT!!! She absolutely adores her teacher Mrs. Rodriquez and the janitor Mr. Carl her favorite time of the day is swamp when she gets extra practice in for her school work. Sammy is very driven and this school is helping achieve at the level she really deserves, she's reading 3 levels higher than the rest of her class, there's even talk of moving her up 2 grade levels! but that's not supprising given her family background, our family moved from venezuela where my husbands was the only neurosurgeon in our little town of Guadalupe Hidalgo and i was the only female engineer, so you can say she comes from a very prestigious background and this school is only helping to elevate her already enormous IQ. ultimately goshen provides the best education for the best families after all my girl has a lot to live up to!
Terrific teachers, fantastic administrators, wonderful PTA, educational "best practices" utilized in classrooms every day... This school is award winning for a reason.
I would give 0 stars if it was an option but, my son was ignored and no one talked to him he would just sit on the bus depressed. Plus, kid were very quiet around him, then I asked my son (second grade) whats wrong? No one likes me because I'm muslim. And another kid stole all his stuff in his pencil case. He comes crying every day when back. And his teacher ms. Oberst. She yelled at him for struggling to read a word, then just yelled at him READ. He also gets framed and everybody just says yes and my son has no evidence because everybody was saying "yeah he did it." Therefore I took him to another school, In conclusion i do not reccomend this school

I've worked at Goshen 16 years and have not ever seen such a hard working bunch of people. I have also worked with Mrs Oberst as her partner and the review above does not sound like her at all. In fact she is one of the sweetest people I know, who truly cares about her students. She is often the last person to leave the school. I would feel blessed if she was my child's teacher.
